Nightmare!
0 stars if it were possible. I posted a review and was talked into deleting it because Jorge from smile makeover wanted to make it right once he saw the review. Although I tried to resolve it with the office manager Jovana, Allie who I communicated with before I got here and the dentists; I stupidly agreed & had no choice because my entire mouth had to be redone. After explaining how rude Jovana was with her bipolar personality (in which Jorge agreed), Dr Paz and Dr Martha not getting it right and showing their frustration by cutting my gums and saying they don’t know how it happened or blamed each other, I had enough. I was going in sitting for hours getting work done and them never getting it right. It was a joke and looked like a DIY job! They say it’s never happened before but speaking to their clients who have gone to similar situations at the reception area while waiting, it seems more common than not. One guy said bone graft didn’t take twice and now they’re cutting in his jaw for bone,3rd visit. Ouch!! I cut my losses short and did not go to the last appointment after they placed a porcelain bridge with pink gums that I never approved! I was crying and horrified to say the least. They cannot get it right. I went in for a full mouth restoration for crowns and bridges. Sat in the chair for a total of 15 hours, waited in their office 5 total hours before I was seen after my scheduled appointments, had to return 4 days in a row to have them fix their very obvious mistakes, had to cancel my vacation and redo all the work once I got home, had appliances placed in my mouth that I didn’t approve. Crowns and bridges that were incomplete and broke, cracked and chipped when I came home. My dentist said they covered some of it with glue!! A living nightmare! Allie convinced me to fly in for the procedure and apologized time and time again but they couldn’t get it right and she wasn’t willing to work with me until Jorge called. Jovana the manager was scary and very shady. Bipolar personality and confronted me and acted unprofessional demanding final payment when they kept messing up my teeth. The doctor’s, unprofessional. Even Jorge agreed that this was ridiculous, Miguel in finance agreed and I supplied them with all the rework I had to get done here and yet they have not resolved it a month later. Telling me several times the wire went through and didn’t. Empty promises, everyday. Excuses. Shady to say the least! I had to redo my entire mouth and paid 3x as much out of pocket to fix all their mistakes and had to go through the pain again and lose the money I gave them. They promised to reimburse me if I removed the review, it’s a month later and I haven’t seen a penny. Avoid this place at all costs. Extremely shady and oh the pain, games they play, the lies and time and money spent is not worth it at all. My next step is to contact PROFECO who is responsible for enforcing consumer laws and investigating violations to consumers in Mexico. I suggest that if anyone scheduled work here or is considering it to reconsider. There are other dentists in playacar and all over PDC. If you have had work and you’re not happy, report it to PROFECO. I won’t sleep until this gets resolved one way or another that’s how frustrating and expensive the experience has been.
